MTV Video Music Awards 2020: Conoce las categorías y los nominados al completo
El 30 de agosto a las 20:00 horas (hora local de Nueva York, 2:00 de la madrugada del 31 de agosto en España) podremos disfrutar de una de las mejores galas musicales del año, se trata de los MTV Video Music Awards 2020. Es aquí donde la jet set de los artistas se baten en duelo por conseguir su galardón.
The Weekend, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga y Billie Eilish parten como favoritos con más de cinco nominaciones cada uno de ellos. Además, será la primera vez que BTS actuará en los VMA's.
Además, en esta edición se han incluido dos categorías nuevas: 'Mejor vídeo musical desde casa' y 'Mejor actuación de la cuarentena'.
La retransmisión será en directo a partir de las 20.00 horas (00:00 horas GMT), a través de plataformas digitales de MTV, desde el Barclays Center en Brooklyn de Nueva York, y también en lugares icónicos de la ciudad. Habrá una performance pre-show donde actuarán Lewis Capaldi, Chloe X Halle, Jack Harlow, Tate McRae o Machine Gun Kelly, entre otros.
Y para que las sorpresas en este año atípico no decaigan, algunos de los más sonados, como Dua Lipa, Selena Gómez o Harry Styles no se han clasificado en 'Vídeo del año' o 'Mejor artista del año'.
Las votaciones están cerradas, únicamente se puede seguir votando al 'Mejor artista emergente' que seguirá en abierto hasta el día de la gala.
